About Dr. Tarnow
Dr. Dennis Tarnow is Clinical Professor of Periodontology and Director of Implant Education at Columbia School of Dental Medicine, and former Chairman of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry, where a wing was named in his honor in 2008.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, he has received the Master Clinician Award from the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration, the Teacher of the Year Award from NYU, the Distinguished Lecturer Award from the American College of Prosthodontists, and Lifetime Achievement Awards from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the Spanish Society of Prosthodontists and Aesthetic Dentistry, and the NGS Academy of Multidisciplinary Dentistry.
Dr. Tarnow maintains a private multispecialty practice in New York City, has published over 250 peer-reviewed articles, co-authored four textbooks including The Single Tooth Implant, and lectured in over 45 countries.
